Visitor Restrictions - Coronavirus Prevention

The Illinois Department of Public Health has put out recommendations for prevention of Coronavirus in long-term care.
Currently there are no symptoms of Coronavirus nor do we suspect staff exposure.
We are putting these restrictions in place for the purposes of PREVENTION.

1. Effective today, we are asking that no visitors under the age of 16 come to Fairview Haven.
2. Please don't shake hands with the residents when you visit.
3. Please use hand sanitizer when you come in and when you leave.
4. If you have traveled internationally or been exposed to coronavirus, please don't come to Fairview Haven.
5. If you have symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat or respiratory), - or have been exposed to someone with those symptoms, please don't come to Fairview Haven.
6. We're encouraging the residents to avoid going out into the community unless necessary.
