Sonny and Sue would have been married 60 years this past November. Their love was one for the books and served as an example to their family. They traveled the continental United States on a motorcycle and traveled every winter to the south to escape the cold. They made many friends during their travels. Sue enjoyed spending time with her family, especially on holidays where she always cooked enough for a small army. One thing she never seemed to make enough of was her cherry cheesecake, it was always a fight for the last piece! Sue spent her days raising her four boys and joked she had a fifth son, her husband. She worked in laundry at Fairview Haven for many years before her retirement. Her family was her pride and joy and she was an amazing cook. Her recipes will be cherished for generations. She also enjoyed spending time with her friends as well. She enjoyed going to Dave’s for coffee and their group of friends always took turns buying donuts on their respective birthdays. Her legacy will live on in her family who will miss her dearly. She was sweet, kind, caring, and the most loving person you would ever meet. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is with her love, Sonny, and her other half-her sister, Sally, as well as her other lost loved ones.
