 Nola I Wilson
May 18, 1923 - August 03, 2017 Nola I. Wilson went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 3 at 4:10am at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 8, 2017 and 9:00 to 9:45 am Wednesday followed by the funeral at 10:00 am all at the First Baptist Church, Fairbury. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements. She was born on May 18, 1923 on a farm south of Fairbury to Dan and Tillie (Roth) Huber. She married Cloyd J. Wilson on October 7, 1945. He passed away on February 26, 2005. Surviving are her children, Doris Sands, Fairbury; Bob (RaeAnne) Wilson, Bloomington; 4 grandsons, Eric (Victoria) Sands, Colorado Springs, CO; Greg (Jean) Sands, DuBois, PA; Todd (Brigid) Wilson, Centreville, VA; and Scott (Samantha) Wilson, Ft. Knox, KY; 15 grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Nola enjoyed traveling, reading, and visiting with her family and friends. She had a deep personal relationship with her Savior, and was a member of First Baptist Church. She will be truly missed by all those who loved her. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, or Fairview Haven Retirement Community, both of Fairbury.
