Christmas was different this year ... we missed our families, carolers and many others who bring us joy. Yet, we celebrated as we could with distanced gift opening, LOTS of treats and distanced masked caroling. Covid cannot keep from us the JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD HAS COME!! We're collecting photos of our team members in their new Fairview Haven Strong T-Shirts and Christmas T-Shirts.. Here are a couple of winners!  Joyce was excited to have Parlor visits from her family! Our visiting parlors are open and meet the safety requirements for visits with your loved ones. Call the receptionist 815-692-2572 to schedule your visit. We will do everything we can to accommodate whoever wants to visit at Christmas! If you know this beautiful lady, please send her a card for her 103rd birthday this month. Her family would like her to have a lot of cards to enjoy. Please send to: Dorothy Householder, 605 N. Fourth St. Fairbury, IL 61739.  We are blessed to have a church building just across the parking lot as well as two team members qualified to preach the Word. Today, about 50 residents and Fairview Haven team members were able to gather safely for a special church service (residents and team members only). Words cannot express the joy these residents (and team members) experienced as they entered the house of the Lord for the first time in TOO MANY months. God provided a glorious day - Thank you to all the team members who made this possible!  |
