This is CNA week! Help us recognize our amazing team of CNAs and caregivers at Fairview Haven and Serenity Villa! They provide excellent care day after day. Please leave comments and we will share. We're thankful for the distanced outdoor visits as an opportunity to connect with loved ones. Please contact Dixie - [email protected] or 815-692-6706 to schedule a visit. Thank you to Joe Delaney for donating bags of cards and notepads for the residents! Others have donated in the past also. We appreciate this! Sympathy cards are particularly always needed.  The courtyard garden is flourishing! We're enjoying lettuce, spinach and radishes. Is there anything more day-brightening than a basket full of puppies? In appreciation for our administrator, Dave Blunier, the Fairview Haven team signed and posted this banner outside his office. As you can see by the comments, Dave's caring leadership is much appreciated by the team here. Thanks, Dave, for all you do! And thanks to Hayley Vedder for the idea and for having the banner made. Incredible Memorial Day Parade tonight in celebration of Fairview Haven residents and honoring our veterans. Thanks, family and friends! A lot of creativity on display here as we celebrated Nursing Home week with Creative Masks Day. Spring is here and the flowers are lovely! But it was still sweater weather today. Today we celebrated National Nursing Home week with Hat Day. Take a look - we even had Daniel Boone here! Meals-On-Wheels clients received a day-brightener today from the Good Neighbors at Fairview Haven. A delightful creative way to celebrate Mother's Day in quarantine! Thanks to our amazing team, supporters, volunteers, encouragers and prayer partners, Fairview Haven is ranked in the top THREE PERCENT of the best nursing homes in the State of Illinois!
