We plan to update the blog regularly to keep everyone informed. We are basing our protocol on CDC and other sources.
There are multiple changes to recommendations throughout the day as so we are working to keep our protocol and you updated as quickly as we can.
First of all, we have no symptomatic residents or team members.
We are taking the recommended precautions to try to protect our Fairview Haven family.
Symptoms of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) include temperature over 100 degrees, dry cough, sore throat and respiratory symptoms.
If residents become symptomatic, we will utilize isolation procedures.
If team members become symptomatic, we will follow the protocol of home isolation.
****NEW AS OF TODAY - We will be taking daily temperatures of all residents and team members.
Visitors and volunteers are asked to take temperatures when entering the building.
At this point, we are not restricting visitors except for the following:
Anyone with symptoms should not come to Fairview Haven
Anyone who has been in contact with someone who has symptoms should not come to Fairview Haven
Anyone who has traveled internationally within the last 14 days should not come to Fairview Haven
Anyone who is under the age of 16 should not come to Fairview Haven
****NEW RESTRICTION AS OF TODAY -- Anyone who lives in - or has spent a a significant amount of time in - a county with known COVID-19 cases should not come to Fairview Haven
An exception may be made to the visitor restrictions if a visit is essential to the resident's emotional well-being.
Please contact Lila Fehr or Brandon Stoller with a request if this is the case.
Thanks for keeping us in your prayers!
As always, we know we are completely reliant on God to help us through any difficulties and He is able and faithful!
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. -Psalm 18:2
