Coronavirus Prevention Update #2 - 3/11/20

NEW AS OF 5 PM TODAY (3/11/20) -
Based on new guidelines received, we are updating our coronavirus prevention protocol as follows:

1. Effective immediately, if you are under the age of 18, please don't visit Fairview Haven.

2. We will be setting up a screening station in the library inside the front door.
Effective as soon as this gets done, visitors, volunteers and FVH team members will be required upon arrival to Fairview Haven to check in at the screening station when it is staffed.
At other times, the nurses and CNAs will be responsible for ensuring that visitors and team members complete a screening tool and record their temperatures.

3. Effective immediately, all large group activities at Fairview Haven (church services, hymn singings, youth group singings) are cancelled until further notice.
Individual performances will continue at this time. Please don't shake hands with the residents when you come in.
We hope to continue with adapted church services (including a minister and song leader only).
