A loss in the family ... Lois Coleman

August 28, 1934 - May 13, 2017
Lois D. Coleman, 82, Fairbury, died at 4:46 pm Saturday, May 13, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
 
A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, May 18, 2017, at the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury with Pastor Ann Champion officiating. 
Inurnment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be held from 9-11:00am on Thursday also at the church.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials be given to Southeastern Livingston County Ambulance Association, United Methodist Church, Fairbury, and Dominy Memorial Library.
 
Lois was born August 28, 1934 in Piper City, IL the daughter of Lester A. and Myrtle D. Thorndyke Perkins. She married Keith L. Coleman on March 11, 1956 in McDowell, IL. He survives in Fairbury.
 
Other survivors include 3 daughters, Becky (Todd) Webster, Fairbury; Connie (Jim) Gentes, Good Hope, IL; Angie Wenger, Fairbury; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and one brother, Robert Perkins, Fairbury.
 
Lois was a 1952 graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.

I would like to give my sincere condolences to Lois' family. She has always been kind and ready with a beautiful smile and a warm welcome. I will miss her kind heart.

Sure going to miss her at Dave's, I'll always remember she gave me a basket I used in my wedding and later my niece used it in her wedding. Lois was always so giving and caring.
