Gold at Fairview Haven!Fairview Haven recently adopted a new Vision Statement - "Putting the Gold Back Into the Golden Years."
Sounds catchy - but what does it mean? Our vision statement reflects Fairview Haven's commitment to a growing national movement called by several names, including Culture Change, Pioneer Movement, Transformation of Aging, etc. Essentially, these movements seek to return a sense of home and community to senior living establishments. For years, nursing homes have been modeled after hospitals. Clinical care and state regulations drove the lives of the elderly. Now many are recognizing that the institutional environment has stolen personhood and self-worth from the nation's elderly. Various means of transforming nursing homes include structural change, organizational change, staffing changes, etc.. We at Fairview Haven are convinced that at the heart of it all is good old-fashioned customer service! |

Enhanced DiningDining is such an integral piece of life in every culture. In our homes, dining is so much more than just nutrition. It is flavor, fellowship, family, socializing, tradition and culture. We provide a friendly dining experience... just like home.

From "Bathing Room" to SpasOur bathing rooms were renovated for a more relaxed, homey atmosphere, along with improved features. We now offer a comfortable and easy-access side-entry whirlpool tub. Come relax in the Oceanside Spa or the Secret Garden Spa.

Renovated Rooms & HallsWe have been gradually refurbishing our hallways and remodeling resident bedrooms. Fresh paint, new floor coverings, softer lighting, and improved accessibility are just a few improvements of many.
|
Outdoor Living SpacesThe people who live in the Fairview Haven community love to be outdoors!
Our maintenance men and volunteers recently created two new patio pads to allow more seating space outdoors. |
Furry & Feathered FriendsPets are good for us, especially for senior citizens. At Fairview Haven, Wally the Sheltie collie dog roams the halls, a delight to those who live here. We also have two cockatiels, and various visiting animals.
