OUTING GUIDANCE AS OF 4-1-21 __________________________________________ VISITOR GUIDANCE AS OF 2-16-21 OUTING GUIDANCE AS OF 2-16-21 RE-OPENING AND VISITOR GUIDELINES 2-1-21 VISITOR GUIDELINES 11-20-20 VISITORS FACT SHEET 10-2-2020 COVID-19 POLICY AS OF 10-8-20 PRAYER REQUESTS:
RESIDENTS - -Please pray that the residents will stay safe from covid and that those who have had covid will heal physically, mentally and emotionally. -Pray for the emotional well-being of the residents. Separation from the outside world (primarily families) is very difficult. -Pray for the spiritual well-being of the residents. As one resident stated: "It hurts so bad to know people are running around carelessly and I just have to sit here." STAFFING - From time to time, we have team members unable to work due to testing positive or being in close contact with someone who tested positive. -Please pray that God will provide a peace that He is in control of all things and will get us through this very difficult time. -Pray that God would protect our team from the virus. -Pray for the emotional and spiritual needs of our team. Everyone is affected differently during this difficult time. -Pray that God will give us added spiritual strength and fortitude to love and support the residents when they are struggling. -We are in need of CNAs and caregivers for Connections Home Care currently. Please pray that God will send the right people for our ministry. EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL WELL-BEING - Our team has been through a lot in the past year. We have had a number of resident positive cases as well as team members who have been off work quarantining or ill themselves. We've had times of being stretched thin. We have lost some residents who were well-loved. This is always difficult, but especially so when so many are ill at once and we are working so hard to care for them. Please pray for emotional strength and healing and for God's comfort. FAMILIES - -Pray for our families. It is so hard to have a loved one in a retirement community right now. Pray that we continue to build trust with our families. Pray that our families can support their loved ones from a distance. Pray for the emotional and spiritual needs of our families. TESTIMONY - -Pray that Fairview Haven can be a light in our community. Pray that we can share the love of Jesus during these very dark and troubled times. Pray that our team will create a safe haven from the storm for the elders we serve. PRAISES - THANKING GOD: -Thankful for our team's incredible efforts in quickly and safely setting up the covid unit on a Sunday late afternoon and evening. -Our team pulling together and helping each other as other team members are out on quarantine. As we have had more positives and other challenges, our team steps up to do tasks outside of their job descriptions. -Wonderful support from volunteers and the maintenance team to get the visiting parlors built. -God answered our prayers and provided a night nurse. -So many wonderful supporters who send encouragement and pray for us. -We are so blessed by a couple of nurses who are helping us out, filling in shifts for nurses who are not able to work. -Thankful for a reprieve so that the residents could have a bit of Christmas ![]() REJOICE EVERMORE. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. IN EVERY THING GIVE THANKS: FOR THIS IS THE WILL OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS CONCERNING YOU. -I Thessalonians 5:16-18 FROM THE RISING OF THE SUN UNTO THE GOING DOWN OF THE SAME, THE LORD'S NAME BE PRAISED. -Psalm 113:3 |
