Keeping You Updated...Fairview Haven's COVID-19 Information page will provide our residents, families and friends with current information about the COVID-19 situation at Fairview Haven.
UPDATE 1/4/2022 --
Fairview Suites, Fairview Haven and Serenity Villa are currently in an outbreak investigation. This particular outbreak investigation began on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. While we have had several team members test positive for COVID-19 prior to this date, it was on this date when we had two team members who were identified to be positive for COVID-19. All team members and residents were immediately tested, and a routine testing schedule has been established. Residents will be tested weekly and team members will be tested twice each week. We will keep this page up to date with the number of cases we experience during this outbreak investigation. We continue to monitor changes to the CDC recommendations, CMS and IDPH regulations and best practice. At this time, we will not be restricting visits to our campus or residents from leaving our campus. However, we implore you to assist with the mitigation of COVID-19 on our campus by being vigilant with hand hygiene, masking, and social distancing. ALL visitors and team members of Fairview Haven are required to wear a face covering at all times over their mouth and nose. Face coverings may be removed while actively eating and drinking, but physical distance should be maintained when the covering is removed. When leaving the campus, we ask that residents follow CDC guidance, use good hand hygiene, wear a face covering while indoors, maintain proper distance, and avoid large gatherings. We continue to covet your prayers and patience as we navigate another COVID-19 outbreak on our campus. If you have any questions about our policy or procedures concerning COVID-19, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Administrator, Dave Blunier via email. A copy of our policy can be forwarded to you. Please understand the policy changes every time CDC, CMS or IDPH makes a change. We have a front row seat at the research of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. We have learned a lot about the virus over the past two years and are thankful that the risk of serious complications or death from this virus are much lower today than two years ago. |
