Homey Hallways and
Remodeled Resident Bedooms

Scene in a Remodeled Room

We have been gradually
refurbishing our hallways and
remodeling resident bedrooms.

Hallways Angel Avenue,
Blessings Way, Country Court
and Daffodil Drive
have all been completed.

Carpeting in the hallways
reduces noise and glare
(for those with vision difficulties),
as well as covering
deteriorating original flooring.

Fresh, colorful paint, better lighting and new safer handrails complete the look.

Resident bedroom remodeling has included:
new floor covering, fresh colorful paint, new wardrobes,
updated drapes and privacy curtains, new weathertight windows,
better lighting and wall heaters to replace outdated ceiling heat.

The restrooms in the resident bedrooms were originally built
to accommodate residents who could walk in by themselves.

Remodeling of the resident restrooms has included:
widening the doorways to accommodate wheelchairs,
elevated handicapped-accessible toilets and
sinks that better accommodate wheelchair use.
