Our Mission

In January 2009,
Fairview Haven adopted a new
Mission Statement,
Vision Statement and
Philosophy/Values Statement.

Our goal was to clarify our mission and re-define who we are
in the context of today's
retirement community.

We wanted the new mission statement to reflect our
core values as well as the
gradual transformation
we are engaged in daily
as we seek to return a sense of HOME to those who live here.

VISION STATEMENT: Putting the Gold back into the Golden Years

PHILOSOPHY AND VALUES: We value the Holy Scriptures and God’s Spirit among us and will try to uphold them and support their presence in our daily lives. We recognize that we have a blessed privilege to serve our brethren and friends in their home.

PRINCIPLES:
• Strive with the help of God to provide the highest quality of life to all we serve without regard to race, color, religion or ability to pay.
• Committed to creating a home supporting the spiritual, physical, mental and emotional needs of those we serve.
• Honor the dignity of all residents and their right to make choices for themselves in a safe and nurturing environment.

• Strive to be good stewards of all resources and seek to engage families and community in our mission of caring.
