Our vision statement reflects
Fairview Haven's commitment
to a growing national movement
called by several names,
including Culture Change,
Pioneer Movement,
Transformation of Aging, etc.

Essentially, these movements seek to return a sense of home and community
to senior living establishments.

For years, nursing homes have been modeled after hospitals.
Clinical care and state regulations drove the lives of the elderly.

Now many are recognizing that the institutional environment has stolen
personhood and self-worth from the nation's elderly.

Various means of transforming nursing homes include structural change, organizational change, staffing changes, etc..

We at Fairview Haven are convinced that at the heart of it all is
GOOD OLD-FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE!
